Keystone HoundPrivacy Policy
Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your subscription and your search, store it on Cloudflare in the US, never sell it, and delete it when you ask. Long version follows.
1.Who we are
Keystone Hound is built by the team behind StrongSkills operated by Max Romano (sole proprietor) based in the United States. Reach us at hello@getstrongskills.com.
2.What we collect
- Email address. Required for your account, receipts, and support.
- Password. Stored as a salted PBKDF2 hash — we never see or store your plaintext password after account creation.
- Payment information. Processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or billing credential. Stripe gives us only: subscription status, renewal date, last payment success/fail flag.
- Search preferences. Price range, area/radius, property style, and any filters you set — used to run your recurring search.
- Favorites and notes. Listings you like, favorite, or leave notes on within your account.
- IP address. Logged briefly by Cloudflare for security and rate-limiting; not surfaced to us except for fraud investigation.
3.Where your data lives
Cloudflare, Inc., in their US data centers (D1 database for account/search/favorites data, KV for short-lived caches). Stripe, Inc. handles all payment data — see stripe.com/privacy.
4.How long we keep it
- Active subscribers: as long as your subscription is active.
- Canceled subscribers: 90 days after cancellation, then deleted (Stripe may hold payment records longer under their own retention policy).
- Tax records: subscription invoices kept 7 years per U.S. tax law, even after account deletion. These contain your email, purchase amount, and date — nothing more.
5.Who else sees your data
Stripe (payment processing), Cloudflare (hosting and database). No one else. We don't sell, rent, share, or trade your data, and don't run advertising trackers, pixels, or third-party marketing cookies.
6.Your rights
Contact us at hello@getstrongskills.com to see what data we have on you, correct it, delete your account (subject to the tax-record exception above), export it, or withdraw consent for any optional use.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do neither. EU/UK residents: our legal basis for processing is performance of your subscription contract and our legitimate interest in operating the Service; you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7.Cookies
A session cookie keeps you signed in. No advertising cookies, no marketing pixels, no third-party analytics.
8.Children
Keystone Hound is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
9.Security
HTTPS everywhere, signed Stripe webhooks, PBKDF2 password hashing, least-privilege storage scopes. No system is impenetrable; if a breach affects you, we'll notify you within 72 hours of confirmation, as required by applicable law.
10.Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the date above and notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
